AAP MLA amanatullah khan Has been sent to four-day police remand, Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has sent AAP MLA to four-day police remand. Amanatullah was arrested by the ACB on Friday in the Waqf Board corruption case. The ACB raided four places close to the AAP MLA. During this, 24 lakh rupees in cash, a weapon and some cartridges were recovered from there.

Amanatullah Khan was arrested on Friday evening itself. Today his close aide Hamid was also arrested. He revealed that the weapon found in his house belonged to the AAP MLA. Along with this, he has made many other big disclosures in front of the police. Arrested Amanatullah was produced today in Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi. The court has sent him on police remand for four days.

ACB had raided four locations

The ACB on Friday raided four places of close associates of AAP MLAs in connection with alleged irregularities in recruitment in the Delhi Waqf Board. After this Amanatullah was arrested. Hamid Ali’s property was also included in the places where the ACB raided.

Three FIRs registered after raid

Police said three FIRs have been registered following the ACB raid, out of which one case has been registered against Hamid Ali, in connection with the recovery of an unlicensed weapon and some cartridges. The second case has been registered against Kaushar Imam Siddiqui, a resident of Jogabai Extension, under the Arms Act. A country-made pistol and three live cartridges were recovered from Siddiqui’s premises, the official said. He too could not be arrested.

Case of rigging in the functioning of Waqf Board

The ACB had on Friday summoned Amanatullah Khan in a case related to alleged financial misappropriation and other irregularities in the functioning of the Delhi Waqf Board. An FIR has already been registered in connection with the alleged disturbances in the board. According to this FIR, Khan illegally recruited 32 people in violation of all norms and government guidelines and indulged in corrupt and partisan activities. The third case pertains to obstructing the functioning of ACB officials. Police said that the people involved in this are being identified.
