Inauguration of projects worth 195 crore rupees in Poonch

Poonch // Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has said that we are working on the principle of “Governance for all” and not for a few. He said that important efforts are being made to establish a bribe-free, drug-free and employment-based society. The Lt Governor further said that no further selling of jobs will be allowed in Jammu and Kashmir. All those guilty of alleged irregularities in the recruitment examination of Sub-Inspector, Financial Account Assistant and Junior Engineer will be severely punished. Manoj Sinha visited Poonch on Tuesday and released Rs 195 crore to speed up the development of 229 panchayats of the district. The Lieutenant Governor said, “Recently, reports of fake appointments regarding the posts of Police Sub-Inspector, Junior Engineer and Financial Assistant have surfaced. We have thoroughly investigated the case. He said that the guilty and the accused will be brought to justice. “If the accused are hiding in a fort, we will bring them to justice,” Sinha said. He said that in the last three years, the Jammu and Kashmir administration had transparently provided jobs to 30,000 youths. Gone are the days when appointments were made through backdoors, today, even a car salesman’s daughter or son will get a job transparently.”

He said that some people are not happy with the transparent system and land governance. It was informed that a total of 1,734 projects were completed in Poonch last year which was more than the target set in CAPEX district. This year, under the district capex budget, Rs 924 crore was allocated to the district for development works and out of the 1,412 projects launched this year, 80 percent of the work will be completed by October 31.

“Effective steps will be taken by the district administration to make the younger generation aware of its inspiring story,” he added. Several steps are being taken for the tourism infrastructure development project of Noori Chhamb under PMDP was also inaugurated today. He said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, various schemes have been implemented in Jammu and Kashmir and today every tribal family has been given their long-standing constitutional rights. Skill development for tribal youth has been started in Poonch under GP) and two batches of training have been completed. The government is bearing the cost of coaching for tribal youth boys and girls for Civil Services, J&K Administrative Service Exam, NEAT, JAE Exams. Lt. He said that 1,479 young boys and girls have been made entrepreneurs in Poonch last year and they have provided employment to more than 3,500 people. 1,062 youths have been targeted to become entrepreneurs. He said that 55 projects of Samardh Seema Yojana and 11 projects of aspirational block have been approved. Lt. Governor paying attention to the demands of public representatives and people of Poonch assured that Mandhar Poonch Money Secretariat will be completed soon. . Power capacity will also be increased in various areas of Poonch including Chandak, Mendhar and Loran to meet the needs of the people.
