Dubai: India’s star opener Smriti Mandhana (731 ratings points) powered her stellar performance against England to reach her career-best second in T20 Internationals and seventh in ODIs in the latest ICC Women’s Cricket World Rankings. Left-handed batsman Mandhana scored 111 runs in the three-match T20I series against England. On the basis of this performance, she was able to move up two places. Beth Mooney (743 rating points) is ahead of Mandhana.

Yastika jumps eight places

Mandhana, who was previously ranked number one in ODIs, played a match-winning knock of 91 runs in the first ODI against England which helped her move up three places. Among other Indian players, captain Harmanpreet Kaur has moved up four places to ninth in ODIs while all-rounder Deepti Sharma has gained one place to be at 32nd. Wicket-keeper batsman Yastika Bhatia, who scored a half-century in India’s seven-wicket win at Hove, has jumped eight places to be at 37th position.

Deepti gains in bowlers’ list

Deepti has also moved up six places to 12th in the bowlers’ list. In the T20 rankings, Harmanpreet has moved up one place to 14th among batsmen, while among bowlers, Renuka Singh has moved up three places to 10th and spinner Radha Yadav has moved up four places to 14th. Sneh Rana and Pooja Vastrakar are joint 41st in the all-rounder’s list.
